Antique Meerschaum & Amber Pipe- Ladies “Can-Can” Leg

This is a beautiful and fantastically collectible antique Meerschaum and amber cheroot pipe. It has marvelous color, and comes with the original case marked in French Gold Medal 1878, and a genuine amber mouthpiece in the shape of the foot, and an engraved original sterling band. The case closes, but has issues, and a lot of wear. The amber foot mouthpiece also has issues, part of it has been replaced, but screws on and off tightly. The meerschaum has been repaired/attached at the knee, but has no chips or other issues. The pipe draws well. I have seen a number of these over the years, usually repaired, and they have always brought fantastic prices. This is the prettiest one I’ve seen because of the great color, but I’m pricing it low because of the condition issues.
