The veteran comedian is considered one of the most influential comedians of all time. With a career spanning decades, Seinfeld is best known for his observational humor, focusing on the comedy of the minutiae of everyday life by turning the mundane into something hilarious.
His role as the star and co-creator of the hit sitcom, “Seinfeld,” cemented his place in comedy history, though his roots are planted in stand-up. His most recent specials include “Jerry Before Seinfeld” (2017) and “23 Hours to Kill” (2020), both of which aired on Netflix as part of a two-part deal with the streaming service.
Beyond stand-up, Seinfeld has ventured into other projects, including the series “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee,” which features the comedian driving fellow comedians in vintage cars and chatting over coffee. He also dipped his toes into filmmaking with “Unfrosted” (2024), a satirical comedy about the creation of Pop-Tarts, which he co-wrote, directed and starred in alongside Melissa McCarthy and Gaffigan.
